Count the times 11 times a two-digit number
This math calculation takes two easy steps:
The first is to separate the two numbers, for example, the first number becomes hundreds and the second number is units.
The second step, please add the two numbers and the result will be a tens. Then combine the two.
Multiplies two tens values
This one method will greatly help you in multiplying the value of tens more quickly. The larger the value of tens, the easier it is to multiply. This method is quite effective for multiplying between values 90 to 99.
Subtract each value by the number 100, for example 97 x 96, then 100 - 97 = 3 and 100 - 96 = 4
Add the result of subtraction 3 + 4 = 7, then subtract the result by the number 100, to 100 - 7 = 93. This result will be the value of thousands (9) and hundreds (3).
Now multiply the first two digits 3 x 4 = 12. The number 12 becomes tens and units.
Combine the end result into 9312. or 97 x 96 = 9312
