About HADES experiment

HADES stands for High Acceptance Di-Electron Spectrometer. The special design of this piece of equipment makes it possible to measure particles extremely precisely and detect very rare particles. Research objective is to investigating the structure of nuclear matter. In order to investigate the basic structure of the nucleons and the ways in which they interact with one another, atomic nuclei are forced to collide at around 90 percent of the speed of light.
